In accordance with article
number 8 of the golf course management regulations, an application must be
first reviewed by local city or county governments before being submitted to
the Sports Affairs Council.
Documents needed:
• Profit-making
business registration
• Front and back
copy of applicant's ROC identification card
• Minutes of
shareholder meetings
• Company
alternation registration form
• Original
public occupancy certificate (those not yet open to the public need not attach
this document)

| Documents needed to establish a sports
foundation: application form, endowment charter or copy of will, endowment
asset inventory and certificates of authentication, director's name and
household registration (identification card copy), letter of consent from
director, director's official seal stamp, minutes from board of directors
meeting or preparatory committee meeting, annual business plan and explanation
manual, donator list and promissory letters, list of directors' mutual familial
relationships, their detailed relationships, and 4 copies of other governmental
departmental designated documents.

| What
are the documents and qualifications needed for list of directors in
establishing a sports foundation?

Qualifications for
directors and supervisors applying to establish sports foundations:
• The number of
directors of any given foundation must be limited from 7 to 21, and final total
must be an odd number. At least a third of the directors must have specialized
sports qualifications or experience in running sport-related businesses and
have documents certifying such.
• Directors and
supervisors of said foundations with marital relations to the third degree
cannot exceed a third of the total number of directors and supervisors.
The number of foreign national directors and supervisors cannot exceed a third
of the total number, nor can a foreign national fill the post as board
director.

| Minimum
funding for establishing national or local sports foundation:
|
| National sports foundations must have assets of
NT$50 million or above. Local municipal sports foundations must have assets of
NT$30 million or above, and local county sports foundations must have assets of
NT$10 million or above.
